atDNA #2 [dna-land]

My previous post atDNA [86-8-6] in regards to autsomal DNA research was mainly based on FamilyTreeDNA results (FamilyFinder test) and my analysis. This post is about more atDNA results I achieved during 2015/2016 time period, specifically by DNA.LAND service.

UPD: This post contains old data/information based on DNA.land Ancestry report from 2015, apr-2016 and oct-22-2016.

In Apr-2016 my main Ancestry Composition pie chart looked in this way. But I re-uploaded raw data in Oct-2016 and here we are – new pie chart:

Still not quite sure about years, time ranges for this kind of tests. But it’s definitely not a few years ago, but hundreds and thousands years ago.

atDNA [86-8-6]

UPD: Latest article about similar information is atDNA #3 [ethnicity admixture]

===

In late 2014 (Dec-08) I received FTDNA results about my atDNA via “Family Finder” test.
Previously, in 2014 I made Y-DNA test, so I belong to paternal DNA lineage within haplogroup I2. More details here.

Here is short at-DNA results, based on FTDNA:

  • 86% – European,
  • 8% – Jewish/Ashkenazi,
  • 6% – Middle Eastern.

Surnames and Locations

Step by step, I have lot of information about places, where LUNDIAK-s were born, grew up, evolved, migrated, worked, returned, temporary settled, buried. Based on yDNA/atDNA/mtDNA matches from GEDMATCH and FTDNA I have many inputs now. So, in this post I want to define some “correlation” between locations and surnames. Below list will be updated, as soon as I find some new location, which potential can be related to my ancestors.

small reward

More than 10 years of research of genealogy, etymology, DNA, families, surnames, languages, countries, customs and I have received small reward recently – feedback from person, whom my data helped to find a lost family information.

“I was doing a Google search on my mother’s maiden name “Lundziak” when I came across the My Heritage site and saw a photo of my mother there.”

“I was so surprised to find this information and photos. It was almost a shock to see my Mom’s photo on the internet.”

“Thanks to you for all the helpful information and time you
are devoting to this. Very much appreciated.”

“Your work is very impressive. If you find out any further info about
either family line, I would be thankful to get it at your convenience.
I can imagine how busy you must be – with work and so many projects.”

“I just had a chance to take a good look at the family tree with the
inclusion of our family in it, and just want to thank you for all your
work. It seems quite an undertaking. I’m still amazed and happy.”
